We focus on the current needs of the individual and the community.

The concrete process

When you have a young person from the target group on your hands, you can contact High:Five, who will then find a suitable workplace for him or her. Our goal is to establish coherence between the young person’s wishes and skills and the work environment offered by the workplace-to-be and to make the young person want to stay at the workplace.

On behalf of the workplaces, we make a number of demands on the young people we help find work.

They are as follows:

  • They must be able and willing to work
  • They must be drug free or undergoing treatment
  • They must have put their criminal past behind them
  • They must have a permanent place to live

In collaboration with you and the business in question, High:Five draws up a contract describing the purpose of hiring the young person, the job type and content, duration as well as financial and practical matters relating to the job. The aim is that the young person should be on an equal footing with the rest of the employees at the workplace as quickly as possible, i.e. be employed on ordinary terms.

You can always contact High:Five, and we on our part will monitor each job match process and will always be available to:

  • Clarify roles and responsibilities
  • Renegotiate contracts
  •  Supervise processes

What can you do?

If you are working with young people within the target group, contact High:Five and let us discuss how best to help young people with criminal records gain a normal life through work or vocational training.
